Sexuality & The Gospel
Drew surrendered his broken sexuality to the Lordship of Christ in 1996,
leaving behind a homosexual relationship. He chose to trust Christ with his future, believing that the Word of God was trustworthy, and that Christ would be faithful to give him a life worth living outside of a homosexual identity or relationship. This surrender began a process of transformation and healing confronting the issues of same sex attraction and overall relational dysfunction in his life.
Taking the lessons he has learned in his own journey of transformation,
as well as two decades of experience walking alongside those who
struggle with their sexuality, and those in the LGBTQ community, to
address questions on sexuality with pastoral insight, spiritual depth,
humor, and practical wisdom.
Drew has been in full time ministry to the sexually broken and conflicted
since 2004 and is the Director of “A Living Letter Ministries,” dedicated to helping the Church respond to sexual brokenness with truth and love. He travels the country speaking to churches, denominations, groups, and conferences sharing his testimony of transformation, as well as pastoral insights to help the broken and equip believers. In addition to his work with “A Living Letter,” Drew has the joy of serving on the Senior Leadership team of Living Waters Church in Medford, Oregon, as a teaching and counseling pastor.
Of all the roles in his life, his most prized roles are that of husband and father. He and his wife Suzanne have been married since 2004 and together they have the joy of raising their three beautiful daughters in Southern Oregon
